Diversity & Inclusion
The purpose of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee is to promote and encourage diverse contracting and WFD opportunities in the P3 industry through education, outreach and advocacy as a means of engaging the community of stakeholders.
The purpose of the Education Committee is to broaden understanding and awareness of P3s. Audiences for this initiative include public officials, industry practitioners, educators and the general public.
Government Affairs proposes and coordinates outreach activities, develops statements of purpose and intent, and provides guidance to the board on issues of vital importance. The committee reviews and assesses proposals in the realms of legislation, public media and other issue forums to determine how the best interests of AIAI can be represented.
Law & Legislative
The purpose of the Law & Legislative Committee is to monitor and address issues relevant to alternative project delivery and P3. The Legislative Committee will report on legislative initiatives that either promote or seek to diminish the mission of the Association including drafting and submitting proposed legislation to the Board for review. The Legislative Committee shares its findings with the Government Affairs Committee and Board of Directors in order to help shape the direction of and ensure consistent communication.
Operations & Maintenance (O&M)
Operations and Maintenance (O&M) is the glue that binds partners with a myopic focus on long-term, life-cycle cost efficiencies. This organizing premise will enable the O&M Committee to convene stakeholders, and discuss and develop educational materials and resources that support its objectives – furthering the delivery of the AIAI mission.
Risk & Performance Security
The focus of the Risk and Performance Security Committee is Payment and performance guarantees, and an understanding of the assessment of risks transferred in the context of P3s.
AIAI Social Infrastructure committee was formed to promote P3 as a delivery model for public infrastructure; creating value through education, thought leadership and connectivity for the AIAI community. The Committee’s goal is to 1) Raise awareness and serve as an educational resource for those who may have an interest in learning more about public private partnerships as they relate to public buildings and other vertical infrastructure needs and 2) Provide advocacy, as appropriate, to support the adoption of public private partnerships as a methodology for procuring, delivering and managing public assets.
The Water Infrastructure committee serves as a resource to help align stakeholders involved in Water, Wastewater, Groundwater, Stormwater, Reuse, and Desalination including service, capital and technology providers, as well as government owners and users.
