Community-Based Infrastructure Committee: How to Develop Smaller P3s
April 23 @ 2:30 pm - 3:30 pm
In these times of the COVID-19 pandemic, municipal resources, both human and financial, are being strained to breaking point. In the near term, many municipalities are seeking to stabilize their communities and then get their people back to work. P3s, with their reliance on private capital, are able to advance new projects at times when municipal financing alternatives may be ‘locked up’. In the longer term, many of these same municipalities are seeking to shore up their public safety assets including medical facilities, police and fire facilities, training facilities, etc. to enable these municipalities and their employees to more effectively respond to the next crisis within the fiscal constraints that they operate under. This webinar brings together professionals with diverse P3 backgrounds such as development, investment, financing and municipal advisory to discuss how the public and private sectors can join together to address municipal needs through projects on a modest scale (< $100 million).
